MASH ACCOMMODATION SERVICES TERMS & CONDITIONS
Mash Accommodation Services serves as a premier Holiday Property Management company. Reservations for some of our properties can be made directly through Mash Accommodation Services or will be offered through independent Booking Agents such as Expedia, AirBnB, HomeAway, and others.
Mash Accommodation Services shall not bear any responsibility for the terms and conditions set forth by independent Booking Agents. We kindly urge our guests to acquaint themselves with the policies of their chosen Booking Agent before finalizing their reservations.
Payment Terms (Direct Bookings)
To secure your booking, one night’s accommodation deposit is required within 3 days of making your reservation. Your booking will be considered confirmed once the deposit is received. Failure to make this payment will lead to the automatic cancellation of your reservation.
The balance of your payment is due 21 days prior to the commencement of your reservation, and unless otherwise instructed. If unpaid the reservation will be canceled and the deposit will be lost.
A 1.75% bank merchant charge applies to credit card payments.
Cancellations
If you cancel your reservation more than 21 days prior to commencement date, the first night deposit will be lost.
Cancellations made within 21 to 7 days of the booking commencement will result in the forfeiture of 50% of the total booking.
Cancellations within 7 days of the reservation commencement will not be eligible for a refund.
No refunds will be provided for deferred bookings. The above-mentioned cancellation policy will be applicable to the original booking dates.
Please note that we reserve the right to offer alternative accommodation or services of a similar standard in cases of Booking Agent errors or other circumstances beyond the control of Mash Accommodation Services. It is the guest's responsibility to review the Booking Agent's cancellation and indemnity policy before confirming the reservation.
Mash Accommodation Services has the right to charge additional costs
from the provided credit card and/or cash bond in cases of:
- Failure to leave the accommodation in its original condition concerning the building, cleanliness, and grounds, including the placement of furniture and fittings.
- Excessive cleaning requirements beyond our designated cleaning time, especially due to a lack of care or pet-related cleaning (refer to full pet terms below).
- Usage of bedding exceeding the number of guests noted in your booking without prior notification to Mash Accommodation Services.
- Failure to return keys to the property's lockbox or loss of keys, subject to a $50.00 fee.
- Guests who do not depart by 10 am without prior arrangements with Mash Accommodation Services will be charged for the waiting time of our cleaning staff.
Pet-friendly Property Conditions (Applicable to pet-friendly properties only)
- Pets must not be left unattended at the property at any time.
- Guests are responsible for cleaning up any pet droppings before vacating the property, and additional fees will be applied if this is not done.
- Pets are not permitted on any soft furnishings within the accommodation. Guests should provide their own pet beds and blankets as needed.
- Professional dry-cleaning charges will apply for any pet hair found on soft furnishings, soiled carpet, or soiled soft furnishings.
WIFI Conditions (Applicable to properties offering WIFI)
We do not guarantee network status in all areas as it depends on the network provider. Mash Accommodation Services will not be held responsible for network errors.
Strict NO PARTY Policy
All disruptive parties and events are strictly prohibited. Unless organized in advance with Mash Accommodation Services. In the event of any disturbance to neighbors, Mash Accommodation Services reserves the right to take immediate possession of the property, and guests will be asked to vacate without a refund.
Winter Season
There is never a guarantee for snow, no refunds or changes will be made to a confirmed booking due to lack of snow. It is up to the guest to understand Australian skiing and know that it is always a risk.
Public Emergencies
In the event that guests are unable to travel to Tawonga or its surroundings or have to vacate a property due to a Public Emergency or a declaration by the State Premier, Mash Accommodation Services offers the option to defer the reservation for up to 12 months without any additional charges.
Mash Accommodation Services highly recommends that all guests consider obtaining travel insurance to cover potential losses resulting from booking cancellations or unforeseen circumstances.
